Week 33 - Carly

What is your name?
Carly Wong.

What sort of photography do you do?
Kids portraits, model portfolios plus a few bits in between. I prefer fun stuff and shoot silly projects on the side of paid work to keep myself amused and inspired. Oh and ANYTHING involving cats.

How long have you been shooting?
5 years.

What's your favorite piece of gear? (for example, Lens, Bag, Camera, Tripod, anything you really love to work with).
Canon 135mm f/2. Though limited in some aspects of application (eg. in confined spaces) if you pick and choose the right situations in which to use it, it cannot be beaten.

Where can we find you? Twitter account/s, blogs, galleries, any and all web presence that you feel comfortable sharing.

Week 31 - Crystal and Bryan

What is your name?
Crystal and Bryan Young.

What sort of photography do you do?
We both shoot a wide variety of subjects.  Crystal loves macro photography and shooting lightning and fireworks as well as sports and animals.  Bryan loves to take wide angle shots and he's been doing his Project 52 exclusively in B&W this year.  We've both loved taking pictures of old cars and, Disney photography and, of course, our two cats.

How long have you been shooting?
We've both loved photography throughout our lives, but really started getting technical about 7 years ago.

What's your favorite piece of gear? (for example, Lens, Bag, Camera, Tripod, anything you really love to work with)
Crystal's go to lens is the Canon 100mm macro, or the Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L.  Bryan loves his Rokinon 8mm fish eye and the Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens.

Week 30 - Dylan

What is your name?
Dylan Madeley.

What sort of photography do you do?
Concert/event photography, and sometimes travel photography.

How long have you been shooting?
My first big outing to Ireland was in 2005. I did take pictures before then, but only with disposable cameras.

What's your favorite piece of gear? (for example, Lens, Bag, Camera, Tripod, anything you really love to work with)
My Canon EF 50mm f.18 lens was relatively inexpensive and has taken me through so many concerts. It has become my default lens.

I live in Toronto and work where I live, from a home office.

Is there a Twitter account you would really like to see take over @WeRPhotography for a week?
I'm not sure because the photographer I know best from Twitter is one who has already curated this account! Here's one I am acquainted with: @iancfoto is one whom I met through work for Auxiliary Magazine.
