To softly and suddenly vanish away?

Should we die?

Time runs its course. Everything has its temporal limits. Well perhaps not Doctor Who, but most things.

@WeRPhotography has been running for over a year now. We have had some wonderful guest tweeters; some professional and famous, some not so, but wonderful nevertheless.

We have also enjoyed the support of the lovely Haje Jan Kamps; inventor, founder and boss of @TriggerTrap who has been graciously gifting each of the first 52 guest tweeters with a Mobile Dongle.

All this has come to an end.

The flow of volunteers, never swift, had slowed to a trickle before the end of the year and has now stopped completely.

So what do we do?

Should we die?

It has always been an aim of this account to get Mr Leonard Nimoy, an exceptional photographer apart from his other achievements. It looks like this will not come to pass.*

Mr Nimoy, I have been… and always shall be… your fan.

Perhaps we should just hold our hand up to the glass barrier, sink to our knees, and softly and suddenly vanish away.

Or perhaps not. Perhaps you don't want that to happen. Perhaps you, an ex-guest, a keen follower, a hobby photographer with an exciting project, a pro with a new portfolio; perhaps you can save this account.

It's up to you now.

It's up to you to pass the word, tell the Twitterverse how important it is that we have a photography rotation curation account.

Tell your followers that we need to have photographers showing their work, detailing their thoughts, showing us how they work, how they light, how they talk to their models.

How they make their art.

We want to see this. We want to be an avenue for you to show this.

Should we die?

I don't think so.

Drop me an email. Er, not sure that's working. It's twitterphotography@gmail.com

Good light.
Jim

Ok, it's all a combination of "The Wrath of Khan" and "The Hunting of the Snark". Possibly a little "Blade Runner" too. That's not a problem, is it?
Except for the Doctor Who reference.
*Sadly, Mr Nimoy did not much outlive the first incarnation of WeArePhotography, sucumbing to complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) on February 27, 2015. Don't smoke, boys and girls, don't smoke.
